Okay… Hear me out. I’m convinced that traveli Okay… Hear me out.

I’m convinced that traveling more is less about money or time, and a lot more about our comfort zones.

While I know there are many people in extreme circumstances who truly cannot afford to travel more, the majority of us use money as a cop-out response to leaving our comfort zone.

We are so afraid to leave the comfort of our home that we make up excuses as to why we “can’t” or “shouldn’t” travel more.

But, guess what?

Fear doesn’t inspire growth, chase dreams or recharge us. It only perpetrates more fear.

If you want to live in fear (whether conscious or subconscious) then, by all means, stay inside your comfort zone.

If you want to live a full life of courage, I challenge you to use the resources that are available to you (link in bio), step outside your comfort zone and experience the world.

I promise, it is so worth it. 🌎🤍

10 Christmas Gifts For Travelers They’ll Love

September 7, 2022

It doesn’t have to be hard to find Christmas gifts for travelers that they’ll actually use and love. And, Christmas gifts don’t have to be tacky either.

10 Christmas Gifts For Travelers They'll Love

In fact, I have tons of travel gifts guides for all types of travelers, including an entire guide on stocking stuffers for travel as well as an entire guide on travel gifts for friends.

Nonetheless, this Christmas travel gift guide is dedicated solely to Christmas-themed gifts for travelers — without all the cheesy, cheap, tacky and virtually useless Christmas-themed presents out there.

Here are the 10 best Christmas gifts for travelers this year.

1. Travel-Themed Ornaments

First, there are innumerable travel-themed Christmas ornaments available on Amazon, such as this classic globe ornament or this passport ornament.

Don’t be afraid to get creative in personalizing this Christmas gift for travelers. You could give an airplane ornament, train ornament, camper van ornament, or even an ornament specific to the traveler’s upcoming or favorite destination (like this Rome, Italy, ornament to remember the Colosseum).

2. Foreign Snack Box

Second, these foreign snack boxes are a super unique and exciting Christmas gift for any traveler.

I’ve personally gotten foreign snack boxes in my Christmas stocking on several occasions, and, trust me, this gift never gets old.

(The Aero mint chocolate bars are my absolute favorite.)

3. Christmas Travel Mug

Next, nothing screams Christmas season like cozying up by the fireplace with a blanket and mug of hot cocoa in hand.

However, sometimes, travelers spend their winters elsewhere and, therefore, need a Christmas travel mug to inspire seasonal cheer away from home.

(By the way, this Christmas gift for travelers would pair perfectly with a pack of authentic Belgian hot cocoa)

This travel mug comes in various seasonal patterns, but I love that this particular pattern could be used for outdoor adventures any time of year.

4. Winter Coat

SHOP THIS GIFT ON ARITZIA

Although this Christmas gift is quite an investment, you can be certain that the traveler will adore this long Aritizia puffer coat.

There has been a lot of buzz about this coat over the past couple years, and for good reason.

The coat is water repellant, wind resistant, filled with responsibly sourced goose down and can withstand temperatures down to -40 degrees. It’s definitely on my travel Christmas gift wish list.

SHOP THIS GIFT ON TARGET

Or, if you’re hoping for a cheaper alternative to the Aritzia coat, try this puffer coat from Target.

It’s less than half the price of the coveted Aritzia version, and I can tell you from experience that Target’s winter coats are plenty warm.

I’ve owned a Target winter coat for years and love it. I’ve never thought it wasn’t warm enough — and I live in Wisconsin. So, that’s saying a lot.

5. Winter Boots

SHOP THIS GIFT ON SOREL

Similarly, every traveler needs a trustworthy pair of winter boots to keep their feet warm in harsh wintery conditions.

These famous Sorel winter boots are designed to do just that. They have 100g insulation for warmth, high traction outsoles to prevent slipping and a stylish look that’s far superior to their chunky winter boot competitors.

6. Travel-Sized Christmas Lotion Set

Unfortunately, chapped hands come alongside cold weather.

Luckily, this affordable travel-sized Christmas lotion set solves the dry skin problem, safely stows in carry-on luggage and spreads a little extra Christmas cheer in the traveler’s life.

Plus, the set can be spilt up as small Christmas gifts for multiple travelers, too.

7. Christmas Toiletry Bag (Christmas Gifts For Travelers)

If there’s one thing I’ve learned in the past year of being a traveler, it’s that toiletry bags get dirty after multiple uses, and it’s always nice to have spare replacements.

I love that this set of toiletry bags has a subtle hint of Christmas cheer (namely the Christmas trees and adorable polar bears) without looking tacky. All of these toiletry bags fit every month of the year.

Additionally, once again, this set can be split up as multiple Christmas gifts for travelers.

8. Collapsible Christmas Tree (Christmas Gifts For Travelers)

Who says travelers can’t have a Christmas tree while away from home?

This fully decorated collapsible Christmas tree is ridiculously packable, which means travelers can finally properly celebrate when they’re away during the holiday season.

Whether they stay in hotels, Airbnbs or camper vans, there is a collapsible Christmas tree style and size to fit their needs.

9. Airplane Christmas Stocking

Otherwise, you could definitely settle for this cute airplane Christmas stocking if the Christmas tree is too, well, extra.

Can’t you picture a few of these airplane Christmas stockings hung over a traveler’s fireplace? I know I can.

And, don’t forget the stocking stuffers. I have a whole list of stocking stuffers for travel under $25 here.

10. Travel-Themed Christmas Wrapping Paper

Lastly, if all else fails, you can always wrap other Christmas gifts for travelers (travel-related or not) in travel-themed Christmas wrapping paper.

Quite frankly, even if the gift is unrelated to both Christmas and travel, the traveler will undoubtably appreciate the personalized travel wrapping paper.

So thoughtful!
