My EXACT 1-day Tokyo itinerary 🗼🇯🇵🍣 W My EXACT 1-day Tokyo itinerary 🗼🇯🇵🍣

While it’s quite literally impossible to see all of Tokyo in one day (after all, it is the world’s largest metropolitan area), we saw A LOT in just one day. See our exact itinerary screenshot on the second photo.

Couple of tips:

🌞Start your day EARLY. Not only do you have a lot to see during your one day in Tokyo, but the crowds are crazy. Start early to avoid the overwhelming crowds as long as possible.

🚊Tokyo’s subway is super efficient, clean (it doesn’t even smell like subway) and easy to navigate if you’ve used public transportation in other major cities. Use Google Maps for routes, lines and platform numbers. Follow the arrows on the ground to make sure your walking with the crowds and not against.

🍣Eat all the food. Conveyor belt sushi is super fun. ICHIRAN ramen bowls are chefs-kiss.

🛍️Konbinis (AKA convenience stores) are everywhere and are a super easy, quick and affordable way to get meals, snacks, etc. Lawsons, 7-Elevens and FamilyMarts are the most popular konbinis. We ate at Lawson or 7-Eleven for breakfast and coffee every morning of our Japan trip.
