Chase Ultimate Rewards + Hyatt Overview
Points and miles travelers love Chase Ultimate Rewards points for many reasons. The primary reason is because you can transfer these valuable points to Hyatt hotels and Hyatt partners at a 1:1 ratio.
I know you’re probably thinking, “There are so many hotel chains with loyalty programs. Why Hyatt?” Well, simply put, Hyatt has the lowest points redemption offers on the market. For example, you can book a luxury 5-star Hyatt hotel for just 45K points per night. Through another hotel chain like Hilton or Marriott, these 5-star stays will run you at least 120K points — if not a million points per night. Likewise, for as low as 3500 points per night, you can book decent 3-star stays at Hyatts around the world.
You can transfer your Chase Ultimate Rewards points to Hyatt in your online banking account by simply selecting your Chase Ultimate Rewards earning card account > Redeem > Travel > Transfer points to partners > Hyatt > follow the prompts to transfer the amount of points desired.
Now that you have a good look into why I love my Chase Ultimate Rewards points, here are 15 of the best hotels — both domestic and international — you can book for free using these points!
15 Hotels To Book With Chase Ultimate Rewards Points
Grand Hyatt Kauai (Hawaii, USA)

The Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort + Spa is a travel hacking fan favorite for good reason. For just 35K points per night during off-peak season, you can experience this beachfront tropical paradise, complete with sand-bottom pools, waterslides, lazy rivers and, of course, a private Kauai beach. Kauai is one of my favorite Hawaiian islands, as there is something to do here for every type of traveler. Whether you would prefer to relax on Kauai’s crystal beaches or take a helicopter tour over the Jurassic Na Pali Coast, Kauai has plenty to offer both inside and outside of the Grand Hyatt.

At the Andaz Maui, you are in the heart of upscale Wailea, surrounded by luxury resorts and 5-star dining experiences at this 15-acre beachfront property. Alila Ventana Big Sur
In the continental USA, the Alila Ventana Big Sur remains of the most highly sought after points redemptions for travel hackers every year. Here, not only will you get to witness beautiful Highway 1 California road trip stops nearby, but you will get to immerse yourself in mountainous nature in complete luxury. There’s no doubt that this resort elevates glamping to a whole new level. You can expect that Alila Ventana Big Sur to cost you around 45K points per night year-round, making it one of the more costly Hyatt points redemptions. However, like I said, most mediocre hotel stays at other hotel chains will cost you at least this many points if not more.
Park Hyatt New York (New York City, USA)

On the contrary, you can experience luxury in the city, too, especially at the Park Hyatt New York. If you love New York City or have always dreamt of visiting Times Square, the Park Hyatt will keep you centrally located, right next to Central Park, while pampering you to 5-star standards. The Park Hyatt New York only costs 35K points per night off-peak, but if you prefer modern luxury to classy luxury, the Thompson Central Park New York would be a fabulous redemption for you at just 21K points per night off-peak.

Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress (Orlando, USA)

Craving a trip to Disney World? You can stay near Disney World for as little at 12K points per night off-peak with Hyatt points at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress Resort. From epic pools to hammocking to rock climbing to kayaking, the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress is sure to keep you entertained on all of your theme park rest days. It’s only a five minute drive into Disney World and a 20 minute drive to Universal Studios. Even though I have already been to Disney World twice this year (does that make me a Disney adult in denial?), I might have to book at stay at this property with points soon.

Andaz Papagayo (Costa Rica)
Internationally, the Andaz Peninsula Papagayo is another coveted Hyatt property among the points and miles community. Located on the western coast of Costa Rica, the resort is only a few hours flight away from the US. Plus, it boasts multiple beaches, a jungle-side infinity pool, a variety of restaurants and on-site activities, as well as monkeys as neighbors. Yes, you read that right, you will find monkeys hanging around at this luxury resort. And, it’s only 35K points per night off-peak.
Secrets St. James Montego Bay (Jamaica)
To be honest, I have had a hard time deciding whether I want to book our summer trip at the Andaz Papagayo or this next Hyatt stay, the Secrets St. James Montego Bay. Montego Bay is known across the globe for its bright blue waters, white sand beaches and lively music. Better yet, the Secrets St. James Montego Bay is an all-inclusive resort. This means, not only are you getting a luxurious resort stay for just 25K points per night off-peak, but all of your food and beverages will be covered with this points redemption too. Of course, you have to keep hurricane season in mind. But, refunds are fairly easy with points bookings.
Secrets Cap Cana Resort + Spa
Also in the Caribbean, Punta Cana (Dominican Republic) remains one of the most popular beach destinations for US travelers, as it is an easy 2.5 hour flight from Miami and offers incredible all-inclusive beach resorts. One of these breathtaking resorts is the Secrets Cap Cana Resort + Spa. This beachfront resort is adults-only and all-inclusive, ensuring a trip fully submerged in relaxation. Best part? A stay here will only cost you 35K points per night off-peak. This includes food, beverages and resort fees.
If you’re craving a relaxing vacation, a luxury trip to the Caribbean on points may be in tow. Other bucket-list luxury resort stays you can book through Hyatt with Chase Ultimate Rewards points are the Park Hyatt St. Kitts (St. Kitts) and Grand Hyatt Grand Cayman, among others. Canaves Oia Suites (Santorini, Greece)
For all my fellow Europe lovers out there, the Canaves Oia Suites needs to be on your hotel bucket list. It’s no secret that Santorini is known for its deep blue ocean views and bright white buildings. Let me say, Canaves Oia Suites exudes this iconic Santorini vibe. The hotel is bright white stucco and offers perfect views of the sea from its rooms and pools. Moreover, you can even book a suite with a private plunge pool or cave pool. This hotel will likely cost you over 100K points per night and reward stays are hard to come by. But, if you’re lucky and persistent, I’m confident that you won’t regret booking this stay on points.
Park Hyatt Paris (Paris, France)

On the contrary, Paris is home to numerous Hyatt hotels, so reward stays are much more available and reasonably price. Notably, the Park Hyatt Paris-Vendome is a 5-star luxury hotel with classic Parisian style that you can book for only 35K points per night off-peak. It’s centrally located, just a few blocks away from the Champs-Elysees and the Louvre Museum. I love Paris, and I can’t wait to visit again soon — either here or at another Hyatt property like Hotel Du Louvre (25K points per night off-peak), the Hyatt Paris Madeleine (25K points per night off-peak) or the Hyatt Regency Paris Etoile (only 17K points per night off-peak).

Schloss Roxburghe (Scotland)
Sleep in a castle? Yes please! At the Schloss Roxburghe in the Scottish countryside, just one hour outside of Edinburgh, you can live like royalty and stay at a historical castle. The rooms are appropriately decorated with regal velvets and bedding. The windows overlook the rolling green property, which features a golf course as well. Free breakfast is included, but, honestly, who needs more than to live like kings and queens for only 12K points per night off-peak? Sign me up.
Hyatt Regency Tokyo Bay (Tokyo, Japan)
If you’re one of 30 million people that wants to visit Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea this year, you may consider staying at the Hyatt Regency Tokyo Bay like my husband and I will be later this year. The Hyatt Regency Tokyo Bay is located outside downtown Tokyo, right on the water. It’s only 2.5 miles away from the Disneyland parks. Plus, a free shuttle runs to and from the parks and the hotel every day. I just snagged a few nights at this hotel for 12K points per night, but you can find it for as little as 9000 points per night off-peak. That’s a bargain.
Park Hyatt Maldives (Maldives)

Furthermore, on the luxurious side of Asia, you can stay in the Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa for only 25K points per night off-peak. That’s insane value! While the standard points redemption room is not an overwater villa like the one we stayed in, I can assure you that you will fall in love with the Maldives regardless. You will be completely engulfed in luxury, white sand beaches and the clearest water you’ve ever seen. Again, keep monsoon season in mind, as well as the expensive price for transportation to and from the main airport in Male.

Grand Hyatt Bali (Bali)
Bali is a digital nomad’s Mecca. And, truthfully, I have every intention of visiting Bali myself as an online business owner. There’s a reason why people visit and revisit Bali. It has incredible culture, nature, beaches and nightlife. The food is delicious and cheap. And, the exchange rates from most currencies work in our favor, making a luxe trip here extremely affordable. This is why a stay at the Grand Hyatt Bali, a beachfront 4.5-star resort, will only run you 9000 points per night off-peak. Yes, you can stay here for 6 whole nights with the Chase Sapphire Preferred’s standard welcome offer, or a whopping 10 nights with the same card’s limited-time elevated 100K point welcome offer.
Alila Ubud (Bali)
While you’re in Bali, I also recommend visiting the jungle and rice field region, not just the coast. At the Alila Ubud, you can swim in a tranquil pool overlooking the jungly Ayung River Valley. Additionally, in this region, you’ll be able to witness iconic Bali sights, such as the Tegalalang Rice Fields, endless waterfalls and Instagram-worthy Bali swings. All of this will only cost you 12K points per night off-peak. Oh, and did I mention this is 4.5-star resort?
